Simple Cheese Dip

This recipe can be used as a dip, a spread or even spread on a loaf and baked .. its really tasty and very simple to make … to make it u will need:

– 1 cup Feta cheese

– 1/4 cup single cream (accually not exactly 1/4 … u need enough to make the feta not so salty .. so it depends on the type of cheese u r using .. the saltier it is the more u need .. but be careful .. dont want it to be too water)

– 1 tb dried mint

crumble feta

Start by crumbling the feta cheese using a fork ..

add cream

Then add the single cream .. i used nestle table cream .. if it isnt available u can use single cream .. add as much as u need so the dip isnt that salty .. like to neutralize it … taste and judge … but be careful not to add alot or it will be too watery …

add mint

Then add the dried mint … and mix …

mix well

And thats all .. simple and delicious …

Serve it with baked pitta bread or anythin u desire …

Enjoy 🙂

I’ve never heard of single cream or table cream. I wonder if it is like sour cream?

    Hay becky …
well single cream or table cream is like double or whipping cream but with lower fat content … table cream can be found in cans (not in the refrigirated section) of any market .. and single cream is usually found in the refrigirated section … but sour cream contains some salt .. so it might not work for this particular recipe … but u can try mixing sour cream with a lilttle of heavy cream … all we r looking for is to neutralize the salt in the recipe.. and make the mint taste show … hope this helps .. if not .. let me know 🙂

Yeah, I don’t think we have anything like that in America. Maybe if I go to a specialty store…
