Simple Pineapple Dessert

This dessert reminds me of my childhood .. on our birthdays my mom used to make this ..ofcourse along with the birthday cakes .. but as i remember this was more important to me than the cake itself ….  its very easy and tastes real good … to make it u will need:

– 1 pack of tea biscuit

– 1 can pineapple

– 2 cups whipped cream

all ingredients

Here are all the ingredients u will need … take few slices of the pineapple and cut them into small peices …

pulse biscuits

In a food processor … pulse the biscuits until powdery … u can do that with a rolling pin and a ziplog bag … simply place all the biscuits in the bag and beat the heck out of it 🙂 .. this is good to release all the aggression in you 😛 …

Add pineapple juice

Now add about 3/4 cup of the pineapple juice (the one in the pineapple can)…

Mix it well ….

Then spread it in the serving plate … u can do it in individual plate or in one big plate … i personally prefare the individual one … looks better when serving …

whip cream

Now spread the whip cream on top of the biscuit mixture …

then pineapple

Then finally add the cut pineapple pieces ….and refrigirate over night … sometimes i dont wait that long 😛 …

And serve …

Enjoy 🙂 ….

It’s a bit like a really easy cheesecake! Maybe using some cheese instead of cream will make it like a really quick cheesecake! But the base is pretty cool, using pineapple juice to bind it rather than butter… and maybe if you used wholewheat biscuits, and yogurt instead of cream, this dessert could actually pass off as healthy!
Thanks for the ideas 🙂 I love foods from people’s childhood…
